I live for my children and my family - Connor and Jacob are my pride
and joy. I have always loved to take pictures of my two little monkeys.
I love documenting the honesty in my children's everyday lifes - from
going to the cottage, playing hockey and snuggling with their dad. I
believe that beauty within comes from the heart and I love to capture
who they are. I love to catch them in action being themselves. I enjoy
freezing these moments in time and turning them into art. This love of
photography has brought me to where I am now, taking photographs of
other people's children to capture their precious moments in time. I
love building rapport and trust with the families and their children.
There is nothing more breath taking then the glow of impending
motherhood, the awe and wonder exchanged between a parent and a newborn
child.
I love to capture people being themselves. You don't have to have
everyone looking at the camera and smiling and you capture them in
their true spirit.
Portraits should be treasured as one of lifes most
important possessions. Portraits captured today will become the
memories of tomorrow.

A pow-wow is a gathering of North American’s Native people. The word derives from the Narragansett word powwaw, meaning “spiritual leader”.
This event consisted of both Native American and non-Native American people and they meet to dance, sing, socialize, and honor American Indian culture. This was such a neat experience. The sound of the drums gave me goosebumps and the dancers outfits were just so beautiful. I will post a little slideshow with more images at a later time. For now here are a few images.

Until next time,

Recently, I had a chance to photograph this wonderful family. They were all so much FUN!
I am going away for a few days and wanted to post a couple images for the family to have a sneak peek. I will edit more images when I return but here are some images for now! There are a countless number of pictures that I loved but I thought I would post these for now…still more to come!

Love this picture!!! This is their 25th wedding anniversary and it is just so amazing to share such wonderful moments with great people.

This little prince was as sweet as can be. I had so much fun taking pictures and I was just so honoured. Mom and Dad were extremely laid back and relaxed.
They are a really great and wonderful family!

Nick Smith played for the Florida Panthers so we thought it was fitting to include his gloves to add a special touch. As soon as we handed Little Sutter the stick he put his hands in the air as if to say “I scored…woo hoo”…go Suttter go!!! Sarah this is the beginning of many days spent in the arena! Enjoy

Until Next Time…

Is it possible that this beauty is ONLY 12???? Yep, she sure is. Mommy you are in BIG trouble. She moved like a model, acted like a 20 year old and she is only 12 – ’still an itty bitty baby’.

Kids just grow up way to fast!
Until Next Time.

Thought I would start my first post off with some new images of our little monkeys – Connor and Jacob!
Connor and Jacob are full of life, energy and personality. They both make us so very proud. Their personalities are black and white. Connor is often very quiet, laid back, kind, caring and thoughtful…Connor enjoys life and loves helping everyone (very much like his dad) while Jacob is full of spirit – Jacob has a great sense of humour and often has everyone around him laughing. Together they are a great pair, a perfect pair of little monkeys!
This image is them both to a T!!!! Jacob often has horns and is always up to something and Connor is pure bliss…Their eyes are truly the windows to their souls.

Little Boys
Little boys come in all shapes and sizes,
Shy and adventurous, full of surprises,
With misshapen halos and mischievous grins,
Small dirty faces, and sweet, sticky chins.
They’ll keep you so busy, and yet all the while
Nothing can brighten the world like their smile.
And no greater treasure has brought homes more joy
Than a curious, active, and lovable boy!

It’s so nice to see the boys walk side by side as buddies and best friends!

This picture just say’s little monkey all over it!!!

Toothless little monster – too cute!

Have a great night – and Enjoy!
